Calif CB Bolden Gets Michigan Offer

Ontario (California) Colony cornerback Omar Bolden (5-foot-10, 197-lbs.), a four-star prospect, picked up his third scholarship offer this week, this one from a Big Ten school -- The University of Michigan.

Ontario (Calif.) Colony cornerback Omar Bolden (5-10, 197), picked up his third offer this week, this one from a Big 10 school.

"Omar was texting Coach (Ron) English at Michigan and he called them and they told him they were giving him an offer," said John Brown, who runs IE Gridiron, a program that Bolden works out with. "As Omar continues to work in the classroom, he'll have more offers."

Bolden, a four-star prospect by, had previously been offered by Washington and UTEP. USC has long been his top school, and the Trojans have kept tabs on him.

"I left Steve Sarkisian a message over at USC to let him know that Omar was doing his work in ths classroom," said Bolden. "We're going to get him where he needs to be and he understands what it takes."

Last fall, Bolden finished his junior season with around 700 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns despite missing four games with a sprained right ankle.

Earlier this spring, he ran a 4.35 forty at the Combine in Los Angeles.
