Clemons Say He, Mallett Coming To MSU Game

GoBlueWolvereine caught up with Pittsburgh area wide receiver Toney Clemons on Sunday. The super wideout has two official visits scheduled already for the fall, one of which is Michigan for the MSU game. And he's not the only one coming in that weekend ...

New Kensington, Pa., wideout Toney Clemons just might be Michigan's top wideout recruit, now that J.R. Hemingway is 'in the fold' as a U-M commitment. And on Sunday, the 6-3, 185-pound Clemons told GoBlueWolverine:

"I'm visiting Michigan for the Michigan State game, the October 7th weekend."

Official visit, or unofficial?

"It's an official visit."

And do you know if Ryan Mallett is coming up for that game?

"I've been talking to Mallett. Yeah, he told me he's planning to come up for the Michigan State game too."

"He and I talk quite a bit. We talk recruiting sometimes, but not that often really. Mostly we just talk about different things, everything. We talk about our teams, our seasons, our lives."

"And I don't know J.R. Hemingway. But if he's coming for that game I'll get to meet him too."

Do you have any other fall visits scheduled?

"Yes; I've also got an official visit scheduled to Colorado, for the weekend after."

As with all the high school prospects, the summer is over for Clemons!

"We start our season this Friday."
