LB Chris Walker May Visit U-M Twice This Fall

Memphis Christian Brothers linebacker Chris Walker took a lot of unofficial visits this summer, all to Southern Schools. But he will make up for it by getting up north of the Mason-Dixon line to Ann Arbor at least once, and probably twice, this fall.

Six-foot-two, 215 pound linebacker Chris Walker from Memphis, Tennessee, Christain Brothers took a lot of unofficial visits this summer, all to Southern Schools: to Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky, Clemson, Louisville, Memphis, Vandy, and LSU.

So GoBlueWolverine asked him if the Wolverines were still in the mix for him.

Are you planning on taking a visit to Michigan this fall?

"Yes. I'm planning on taking an unofficial visit to Michigan for the Michigan versus Michigan State game, and possibly also for the Michigan versus Northwestern game."

What other schools are you visiting this fall?

"We play in Nashville this Friday, so I'm going to Tennesse for the Cal game this weekend, and then I'm going on to Ol' Miss on Sunday. I'm also planning on visiting Notre Dame for the Michigan game. And I'm also planning on visiting LSU, Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, and Miami -- I am going to the Tennessee-LSU game and the Tennessee-Alabama game. My mom and I have a whole list of games we plan to attend."

Are you going to take any official visits this fall?

"I'm not planning on it. I want to take my official visits when I narrow my list of schools down a little bit more. Also, after the season the coaches aren't busy with game day and can take their time to show me around."

Michigan is still strongly in the mix for the fast linebacker.
