Darran Kinsey is one of the top linebacker prospects in South Florida this year and the Gulliver Prep standout talked about the latest.
"We had a strong start," Kinsey said. "We won 48-6 and I finished with 13 tackles and one sack. My number one goal this year is to break the single game record in tackles. I think it's 25. I know I can get it."
Kinsey, 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, has not yet scheduled any visits but has three of them in mind.
"Michigan State and Kansas State have offered me a scholarship and I plan on visiting them," he said. "I'd like to visit Michigan. I talked to them last night and I think they're gonna offer real soon."
In addition to those three, Kinsey lists several other schools who are under consideration for the other two visits.
"Auburn and Minnesota have offered so I might visit them," he said. "I also like Miami, Florida, Florida State, and LSU. I'll be at the FSU/Miami game on Monday."
