Michigan Remains at No. 6 in Both Polls

The Michigan Wolverines held on to their No. 6 ranking in both the Associated Press and the USA Today polls after Saturday's 27-13 victory over Wisconsin.

Except for LSU moving up from No. 11 into a tie for No. 10 with Virginia Tech in the USA Today rankings, the top ten remained intact from week four to week five.

Ohio State stayed firmly on top, followed by USC in the USA Today Poll, and Auburn in the AP Poll. West Virginia and Florida preceed Michigan, with Texas and Louisville following the Wolverines.

LSU and Georgia round out the top ten in the AP Poll. The Bulldogs are at No. 9 in the USA Today Poll, with LSU and Virginia Tech tied at No. 10.
