Muskegon High cornerback Ronald Johnson was slated to be among the throng of visitors in Ann Arbor this weekend for the intra-state match-up between Michigan and Michigan State, but the talented youngster informed GoBlueWolverine last night that he may not be able to make it in after all.
"I was supposed to be coming over there, but now I don't know," said Johnson. "I might be doing something with my mother. Right now I think I'll probably still be coming, but I don't know for sure. We'll have to see. I'll know for sure later in week."
Johnson has yet to arrange any official visits, but has been exploring possible dates for a trip to USC for the past few weeks. After talking it over with his mother, he has come up with a preliminary date for his trek to the West coast, but indicated that it is by no means set in stone.
"I talked it over with my mom and we're thinking about making it November 24th," he said. "I don't know for sure though. I'd like to take it a lot sooner than that, so I'm going to see if we can move it back some."
GoBlueWolverine will have more on Johnson in the coming weeks.
