Predictions from the staff of GoBlueWolverine Magazine on the Northwestern game this afternoon.

Tom Beaver
Michigan, we believe, would love to jump out to a 21 point half time lead and rest its starters. This could well happen, but if so the score will not get out of hand.
Michigan 31, Northwestern 10

Josh Turel
this should be a rather easy Michigan win. I expect the Wildcat offense to challenge the Michigan secondary deep much like they did against Michigan State but the pressure Michigan is able to bring should be too much for the Wildcats to handle. Defensively there isn't much to work with and the gaps in coverage have been exposed rather easily all season long. The Wildcats show heart, but simply cannot make up for the large gap in talent.
Prediction: Michigan 31, Northwestern 3

Allen Trieu
The Cats put up a lot of points against Michigan State, but they gave up quite a bit too. Last year's game was fairly close, but the Wildcat defense kept them in it last year and they lost key personnel which has caused them to struggle this year. They will also see a much improved Chad Henne. The home field advantage for Michigan puts it over the top, this shouldn't be close. As an aside, the Wildcat special teams have had some struggles, look for Steve Breaston to have a big day on punts if they kick to him.
Prediction: Michigan 42, Northwestern 13

Bret Osburn
Northwestern is just overmatched in this contest, but the Wolverines are going to use the time off before Ohio State to try and get healthy. Michigan jumps out early and then substitutes freely enough the Wildcats won't get embarassed.
Michigan 31, Northwestern 10
