Jermale Hines Profile
Cleveland Glenville linebacker/safety prospect Jermale Hines has set two visits, has a third that he will take, and is keeping his options open for the final two. "I'm going to Iowa on Dec. 1 and Michigan the week after that," said Hines, who was a standout for Glenville High School this fall. "I'm also going to visit West Virginia, but I haven't set a date for that yet."
That makes three of Hines' five allotted visits, but he has not begun to narrow down the prospects for the final two yet. Were Ohio State to offer, the Buckeyes would certainly nab one of the remaining two visits.
Since he is not starting his officials until December, Hines said his decision on a school will likely be much closer to Signing Day than first thought.
He said some of the factors influencing his choice of schools will be depth on defense, the school's history, game atmosphere, and academics.
Hines, who has his eye on a sports management major, gave himself a "B" for his senior season. "I really wanted to play more defense," he told BlueGoldNews.com. "I only played there about 50% of the time."
All of Hines offering schools are looking at him as a will linebacker or safety. In West Virginia's case, that would include the spur and bandit positions. He stated that he has no preference for position in college.
