First, Ill. DE Martez Wilson (6-4, 240) from Chicago Simeon. Five-star, Scout.com's #29 prospect. The last time GoBlueWolverine spoke with Martez, 10 days ago, he said he was dropping his scheduled Dec. 15 official visit to Miami in favor of Michigan. U-M doesn't normally schedule a recruiting weekend for the 3rd week in December, so we decided to wait a week or so and then double-check with Wilson. He told us:
"Yes, my official visit is set up with Michigan for December 15."
We asked Martez one more question: do you think Michigan and OSU should have a rematch?
"Yes. Definitely. I don't think there is another team that would
deserve it more because it was such a close game."

Regarding N.Y. OT John Elliott (6-4, 285) from East Meadow, N.Y. Scout.com's #52 prospect, 4-star. Elliott has a final five now, of West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan, Boston College and Rutgers, and there was a possible official visit date for Michigan of Dec. 8. GoBlueWolverine talked to Elliott's mom last night, who once again confirmed that a U-M visit date has been set but was not positive it was Dec. 8 ... GBW assumes this is the date but will speak with John himself soon.
