Michigan Visits Glenville Linebackers

The Michigan coaches have hit the road recruiting ... and Cleveland Glenville is a prominent stop along the way. GoBlueWolverine talked to the two Glenville kids U-M is interested in, LB's Jermale Hines and LeBron Daniel.

Linebacker LeBron Daniel (6-1, 225). Daniel played OLB and DE for Glenville this year and averaged 9 tackles per game. Daniel told GoBlueWolverine:

"Coach Loeffler was in our school last week. That's when we talked about a Michigan visit. He is coming back sometime later this week again, and we'll hopefully get the date set."

Linebacker Jermale Hines (6-2, 200) ... Hines played Quarterback for Glenville and was named Ohio offensive Player of the Year. Hines told GoBlueWolverine:

"I'm visiting Michigan next weekend, December 8th."

"And I'm going to Iowa this weekend."

"I also plan to visit West Virginia, but no date has been set. And I don't know after that."

LeBron Daniel again.

"I am visiting Iowa this weekend, with Jermale. Iowa has offered me a scholarship."

"Michigan hasn't offered me yet."

"Hopefully I'll be visiting Michigan with Jermale too, on the 8th."

Note: Hines told SuperPrep's Allen Wallace on Sunday that, "Michigan leads over Iowa because they have seniors leaving. I have a little more faith that I'll play at Michigan...I can't go wrong playing for the Wolverines."

Ohio State hasn't offered either Hines or Daniel ... if the Buckeyes would offer they'd likely jump way up for both.
