Did Michigan Make The Cut?

All-American defensive tackle Moe Dampeer has more than 40 scholarship offers. Dampeer has narrowed down his list of favorites to 10 schools. Did Michigan make the cut? National Expert Jamie Newberg gives an update.

"Right now, I am open but I have narrowed it down to ten schools," said Lawrence "Moe" Dampeer. "I like Illinois, Purdue, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and UCLA. As of right now, I know I want to visit UCLA and Miami. I will figure out the rest later this season."

Dampeer, from Decatur (Ill.) MacArthur High School, broke his foot in the beginning of June playing basketball. He is now getting back to close to 100%.

"I would say I am around 85-90%. I just have to get in better condition. Other than that, I feel great. I learned a ton during two-a-days. This season, I am listening to the coaches better and trying to be more relaxed out there. I am having fun and I think I can have a huge season."

Dampeer is a five star rated defensive tackle and the number two player overall at that position by TheInsiders.com.
