Catching Up With Doug Wiggins - Travel Week!

Catching up with North Miami CB/Ath. Doug Wiggins as he travels to his 4th school in a week - and it's not to South Carolina. Wiggins states his final five schools, exactly one week from his decision date -- and the January college enrollee has two changes to his finalists from just a week prior!

GoBlueWolverine note: North Miami's Doug Wiggins is announcing his defision this coming Friday the 22nd, then graduating and entering college in January. He visited Georgia back in the early fall, then Michigan this past weekend -- then immediately set off on a saga that has taken him in the past 5 days to North Carolina, then Western Michigan (where he has a cousin and several friends playing), and finally this weekend ... we thought it was going to be South Carolina, but it's not. Allen Wallace caught him on the way to his final visit.

We caught four-star athlete Doug Wiggins (5-10.5, 185, 4.5), from North Miami Beach High School, just as he was boarding a flight to Oklahoma for his official visit to check out the Sooners.

Before being told by airport personnel to turn off his phone, he quickly stated that his five favorite programs are now Oklahoma, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia and Miami. Although he denied a leader, this was the order that he named the schools.

According to previous reports, Wiggins, ranked as the No. 12 cornerback by, will be graduating mid-term and enrolling somewhere in January, making him eligible to participate in spring practice.

He'll announce his decision on December 22. Wiggins reports a 3.0 core GPA and says he is SAT qualified.
