“I’m definitely excited for the game,” Johnson said of the Rose Bowl. “I’ve been talking to some of the staff at USC like Coach Carroll, and they seem ready for the game.”
The Rose Bowl comes on the heels of Johnson’s recent visit to Southern California and while the weather didn’t quite cooperate, he said he still had a great time.
“It rained two days when I was there,” he said. Still, it was a great time. I had a really fun time out there.”
With official visits to both Michigan and USC under his belt, Johnson now is looking forward to his final visits.
When then asked if he might take his fifth and final visit, Johnson added one more possibility. “I’m scheduled for Michigan State after Florida,” said Johnson. “They want me to come up there so I might head up.”
Once that is done, Johnson will have nothing left to do but make his choice and declare his college destination. However, he hasn’t ever been in a rush to make a decision. As expected, he will take all the time he needs and recruiting fans will simply have to wait until then to know where one of the nation’s top playmakers will be headed in the fall.
”I’m going to announce on signing day,” he stated, adding, “I’m going to try to do it at my church.”
