2008 Intro: Robert Bolden

GoBlueWolverine continues its series of profiles from this year's Army National Junior Combine with a look at Fresno Edison DB Robert Bolden. The physical safety prospect is high on the Wolverines and he already has a familiar face in Ann Arbor in CB Johnny Sears.

Johnny Sears is a Fresno Edison alum.  Do you talk to him very often?

"Yeah, I talk to him when he comes down. He said he really likes it at Michigan."

As a fellow DB, did you see anything in Johnny's game that you want to make a part of your own?

"He was quick was feet.  He reacted really well, and I always wanted my reactions to the ball to be quick like his."

For people that haven't seen you play, how would you describe your game?

"I'd say I'm like Richard Marshall because I'm real aggressive on the line.  I'm a beast on the line of scrimmage!  I'm real physical.  I'm quick too.  I run like a 4.6."

What schools are you hearing from?

"Arizona, Michigan, Washington, Washington State, Ole Miss.  That's about it right now."

Are there any other schools that you'd like to hear from?

"No, not really."

Have you camped at any schools before?

"No, but I plan to camp this summer at Michigan and Arizona."

At this point, what would you say you know about Michigan?

"I know I like Coach Ron English.  He is really high on discipline, and I like that."

Do you have a timetable for your decision on a school?

"I'm kind of debating what I want to do right now.  I might wait to see how hard these schools will recruit me to see if they really want me."

What are going to be the most significant factors in your choice?

"Depth chart and depth chart.  I want to play right away."
