"I have offers from Akron, Miami (Ohio), Ball State and Central Michigan." Said wide receiver, defensive back Kevin Mitchell.
"Michigan, Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois and Indiana are my favorites right now. I'm hearing from a lot of schools right now.
"Michigan is probably my leader. I went to their (Wolverine) camp and was voted #1 defensive back.
"The coaching staff at Michigan was great. I love the campus and it's big time football. I'm going on an unofficial visit this weekend to check out the Washington game.
"Everything at Michigan just felt real good. We'll see what happens."
Mitchell, a 6-foot, 190-pounder from Ft. Wayne (Ind.) Homestead has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.5 seconds.
Mitchell begins his fourth year on the varsity at Homestead. As a junior he had 109 tackles and eight interceptions on defense and 856 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on offense.
Mitchell camped at Purdue, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana this summer.
