Donovan Warren Profile

Scout.com spoke to Donovan Warren's father, Alvin, tonight, and he said Donovan might unofficially visit Michigan. He would travel to Ann Arbor on Tuesday and travel home on Wednesday. Then announce his decision on Thursday (Feb. 1) on Fox Sports Net.

Warren said the Michigan coaches met with his son last week. He said Donovan feels Michigan might provide a better opportunity for playing time. At least early on in his college career.

"USC has three cornerbacks returning," Warren said. "No. 28 (Terrell Thomas), No. 7 (Cary Harris) and No. 15 (Kevin Thomas). But it's hard to turn down an offer from USC and the opportunity to play close to home. With the recruiting classes USC has brought in, you know they are going to win every year. At Michigan, they have a very good defensive backs coach in Ron English and Donovan really enjoyed his official vsit to Michigan.

"It's no secret that Donovan might visit Michigan and I'm not going to tell you he won't. He just wants to make sure the school he chooses is the right one. We'll know by tomorrow if he'll visit Michigan or not."

We'll meet with Donovan Warren at Long Beach Poly tomorrow and get the latest thoughts from Scout.com's No. 4 rated cornerback.
