Rashad Mason (6-5, 215, 4.5), Scout.com's No. 14 ranked wide receiver from Pear-Conn High School in Nashville, Tenn. has ended his official visits at four, and this week he has had his head coach in-homes with Michigan on Monday (Coaches Carr and Campbell), Ole Miss yesterday (Tuesday), and will have Kentucky today (Wednesday), and North Carolina on Thursday.

Mason spoke with GBW last night.

Why did you cancel your Clemon visit for this weekend?

"I talked to my coach about the visit and we decided that this late in the game that they wouldn't have an open scholarship for me, so I didn't go."

You've visited North Carollina, Michigan, Ole Miss and Kentucky, and you've had two in-home visits with head coaches now. How are you going about comparing all four schools?

"I've been taking notes in a notebook on what I've liked and haven't on all the schools, and I'm going to go through it all this weekend and make my decision."

What factors are you taking into consideration to make your decision?

"The bond between the coaches and the players, and the overall environment. And I'm interested in majoring in business so I'm looking for a good business school."

Did anything stand out about Michigan when you visited there, compared to the other schools?

"Yes. The players made me feel like I was at home there."

Did you learn anything more from your Michigan in-home visit?

"Coach Carr reminded me that Michigan has a top-ranked business school."

Have you been talking to Ryan Mallett since the visit?

"Yeah, I call and talk to him a lot! The first time I met him, at my visit, he made me feel like I had known him forever. When we talk he always says that if I come to Michigan, we will win the National Championship!"

When are you going to be making your decision?

"I'm going to evaluate all the schools over the weekend. Then I'll call the coaches on Monday and tell them my decision. I'll announce it publically on Signing Day."
