TE Rudolph: S-Day Offer, Jr. Day Attendee

Cincinnati Elder has one of the top junior tight ends in the country in Kyle Rudolph. Michigan is highly interest in the Top 100 Junior, and the interest is mutual. GBW spoke to Kyle Tuesday.

Kyle Rudolph is a 6-6, 225-pound tight end from the Cincinnati Elder program, and one of Scout.com's Top 100 Juniors. GoBlueWolverine spoke to Rudolph Tuesday afternoon.

Has Michigan offered you?

"Michigan has offered me a scholarship. It was on Signing Day. Coach Debord contacted my coach, and I called in and talked to Coach Carr -- he offered me the scholarship."

What are your other offers?

I have a bunch of other offers: Ohio State, Notre Dame, Virginia, Boston College, NC-State, Miami, Wake Forest, Virginia, and Akron. Tennessee has offered me verbally but I don't have it in writing yet."

Are any of the schools at the top for you?

"I do have a top five (in no particular order): Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Ohio State and Virginia."

Have you been to Michigan, and/or do you have plans to make it up to Ann Arbor?

"I will be coming up for Michigan's Junior Day this Saturday. I've been to Michigan before -- I went to the Central Michigan game last fall."

Rudolph is a two-sport star for Elder, playing basketball as well. And he is a fine student with a 3.0+ GPA.

Rudolph named OSU as his early leader last fall and went to three OSU games, and he got both OSU and Notre Dame offers in the fall. But he obviously has a serious interest in Michigan as well.
