When GoBlueWolverine caught up with Washington, Penn. linebacker Andrew Sweat (6-3, 230, 4.55), he told us, "We just left Schembechler Hall."
"We stayed over night in Ann Arbor and toured some more today."
Did you get a scholarship offer?
"Yes.Did you commit?
"No. I'm definitely considering Michigan though. They are one of the top couple schools on my list."
What schools have offered you so far?
Ohio State, Pitt, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn State."
And what schools are at the top of your list?
"Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin ... I have not been offered by Notre Dame yet, but if they offer they will be up there. Florida is another school that said they might offer ... if they did I'd narrow it down to a top 3 or 4, and Michigan would definitely be in that top group."
What is your timetable?
"If everything goes well I'd like to make my decision in July or August."
And then he reiterated:
"I really liked my visit to Michigan. I liked the coaches, and the facilities. I'll be back to Michigan for a spring practice, and maybe for camp as well."
