Briefly: LB Arthur Brown, WR Fred Smith

Brief remarks to GoBlueWolverine from two of 2008 top senior prospects: East Wichita, Kansas linebacker Arthur Brown and Detroit Southeastern wide receiver Fred Smith. Both have Michigan offers. More to come.

GoBlueWolverine briefly spoke with East Wichita, Kan. linebacker Arthur Brown on Sunday afternoon. Arthur is a 6-3, 225-pound head hunting MLB, who ran a sub 4.5 40 at the Oklahoma university summer camp last year. Brown racked up some incredible numbers during his last two seasons, including 164 tackles, six sacks, and an interception his sophomore year and 158 tackles, six sacks, an interception, and over 8 force fumbles last season as a junior. At this year's past All-American combine in San Antonio, Brown was named to the all-combine first team. Brown holds a large list of offers from a number of major programs as well. Brown confirmed with GBW that, "Yes, I have a University of Michigan offer," and that in addition, he is very much interested in the Wolverines.

GBW will be doing a follow-up interview on Brown tomorrow.

Regarding Junior Day attendee Fred Smith (6-3, 190) from Detroit Southeastern:
