Ohio Lineman Has Interest in Michigan

Cincinnati's Ty Hall wasn't able to make it to Ann Arbor for the Washington game but he says he's still planning on a visit. Hall has emerged as a top Midwest prospect.

"I have about 20 schools call me this week," said offensive lineman Ty Hall. "I really haven't begun to narrow anything down yet. I'm still looking at about 10 schools.

"Tennessee, Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, Clemson, Notre Dame, Stanford, Northwestern and Vanderbilt are the schools I like the most.

"I heard that I was #1 recruit at Vanderbilt. I don't know what's going on with Northwestern. They haven't offered me and I'm kind of surprised by that.
"At one time, Northwestern was tied with Ohio State as my favorite. I'm going to talk to the coaches on the phone and I'll narrow things down from there.

"I'll probably start setting up my official visits in the next couple of weeks."

Hall, a 6-foot-6, 275-pounder, from Cincinnati (Anderson) was a 2nd team all-city selection in 2001. He's emerged this year as one of the top offensive line prospects in the Midwest.
