"We are thrilled that Jerry has decided to join the staff," said Beilein. "After having worked closely with him over the last four years I knew it was important to bring someone with his credentials to this program. With his vast knowledge and work ethic he will help us with our immediate goals as well as the future goal of making the Wolverine program one of the tops in the country."
"This is a wonderful opportunity for me and my family to come to Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan basketball program," said Dunn. "The Big Ten has always been one of the premier conferences in the country and it is a thrill to be back coaching in it. As well, I am excited about coaching with coach Beilein again. I look forward to getting started and helping the Wolverines reach new basketball heights."
