Fort Bend Dulles (Sugarland, Tex.) wideout Daryl Stonum, Scout.com's #41 prospect, got his first look at the University of Michigan this weekend.
Is Michigan still looking good through the eyes of Daryl? GoBlueWolverine caught up to him on his way back home.
So, your visit is over?
"Yeah, I'm sitting at the airport."
You aren't doing any of the Michigan camp then?
"No, I'll be on the airplane when camp starts."
Did you commit to Michigan?
"No, I didn't commit yet."
How do things stand for you?
"I don't really want to say a leader yet because I have a few more visits to take ... but on a scale of one to ten this visit was a ten, and plus some."
Who else are you planning to visit?
"I'm going to visit Florida and USC, and if I have time this summer I will visit Alabama and Florida State."
GBW note: The Florida visit could be next weekend, and USC may be the first weekend in August.
Are you going to make your decision by the end of the summer no matter what?
"Yes, that's my plan. I plan to make my decision by the end of the summer."
Who did you hang around with this weekend?
"I was with pretty much the whole team ... Michael Williams, Brandon Herron and Brandon Harrison, Adrian Arrington ... everyone really."
Have you been to Michigan before?
"Yes, this is my first trip up there."
Was the visit everything you hoped it to be?
"I can't say I had any particular hope as to what it would be ... but I did get shown all the love from the team that I could ever want."
