William Campbell, a junior OT/DT from Detroit Cass Tech became Michigan's first verbal committment for the 2009 class.
Campbell played offensive tackle as a sophomore on varsity last year but worked on the defensive side of the ball at this year's summer camp. Cass Tech head coach Thomas Wilcher says Campbell will start on both sides of the ball this season. The 6'6, 320-lber is also Michigan's second committment from Cass Tech, joining CB Boubacar Cissoko, a 2008 commit.
Go Blue Wolverine will have more from Campbell shortly.
