Overall Top Camper: Ore. DE Ethan Johnson

Oregon defensive Ethan Johnson from Portland Lincoln is GoBlueWolverine's top camper of the week. Ethan will be out of pocket for a few weeks now ... here is what he told GoBlueWolverine after camp.

GoBlueWolverine spoke after camp with Super defensive end Ethan Johnson (6-4, 260).

We asked him what is next for him:

"From here I'm going to Notre Dame for a day. Then I'm going to visit my relatives in Ontario for a couple week for a vacation."

USC is considered a big threat to U-M for Johnson, so we asked him about USC, and he said, "I visited there this spring. It was okay."

We asked if Michigan and USC would be there in the end for him, and, smiling, he said:

"Michigan will be there until the end."

Ethan said he had a great camp experience.

And Johnson is GBW's Top Camp Performer overall.

In case you missed it, here is what we said about him:

"The ***STAR*** was Ethan Johnson. BLAAAAAZING first step. Wow -- as fast a first step as any high school defensive end we've seen. He and his O-lineman would line up in OL-DL one-o-ones, and -- ZOOM -- Johnson would be past him before the poor OL could even get out of his stance. THis happened over and over. It also turns out he has family in the Windsor, Ontario area."
