QB Mike Glennon Talks U-M, The Future

Quarterback Mike Glennon from Chantilly, Virginia has been all over the country, and has picked up offers wherever he went. His last trip included Michigan. He recently told goBlueWolverine that he is now ready to sort things out.

Quarterback Mike Glennon(6-6, 195) has now been to FSU, Virginia and Virginia Tech, Duke and Maryland, and he has camped at Miami and NC-State.

He is back home from his latest recruiting trip -- and GoBlueWolverine talked to him about it.

Tell us about your Michigan visit.

"With Michigan it's the tradition. And that stadium, the size or it. What can you say."

"I got to sit down with Chad Henne, and he told me what it was like to be quarterback at Michigan, and what it took to get there as well."

"And Coach Loeffler -- he's one of best quarterback coaches around ... it's clear that he knows a lot about the game."

Did you visit any other schools on this trip?

"I also went to Purdue, and to Michigan State."

Do you have a top 3-4-5 schools now?

"I will sort things out over the few weeks ..."

"I haven't narrowed it down."

Do you have a longer list?

"The three Midwestern schools -- Michigan, Purdue and Michigan State -- NC-State, UVA, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Duke ... and Florida State."

What do you think about playing in the North versus the South?

"I'd rather play in a warm climate -- but it's not a deciding factor ... just because Michigan is cold in the winter, I won't say no."

Do you have a timetable?

"As far as a timetable... I'm not sure ... I'm going to think about. Maybe have all information I need to make a decision ... if need a little bit more, I'll take some official visits."

Can you give us a fell for how you rate your Michigan visit?

"On a scale of one to ten, it was a 9 or 10 ... it was very impressive. The highlight was Coach Loeffler.... I sat down with him and watched film of Chad Henne, and Coach Loeffler was critiquing him ... you could see what Coach Loefffler was doing, making him into a good player."

"He's a perfectionist."
