Birmingham Groves offensive lineman Deon'tae Pannell has informed Go Blue Wolverine that he will be in Ann Arbor Wednesday for a visit.
"I'll be in there pretty early in the morning," he reported. "My mom will be with me."
Pannell, who is Scout.com's #9 rated player in the state, has already visited Michigan for the spring game and during summer camp. It was following camp that he received his offer. This, however, will be the first time he'll have mom by his side.
"It will be a chance for her to check out campus and see the town and meet the coaches. We'll be mostly with Coach Carr and Coach Moeller."
The Wolverines have made his final three along with Michigan State and Penn State. He had previously told us that he wanted to wait until the end of July to make a decision and even though the Wolverines may apply the full court press on him this Wednesday, he isn't ready to say that here's a strong possibility that Michigan will move up his list.
"I don't know," he said. "I just need my mom to be able to see everything and talk to the coaches."
