Price Done as a Wolverine

After a few days of mulling over his basketball future in Ann Arbor, redshirt sophomore Kendric Price informed John Beilein that he has decided to leave the Michigan hoops program.

"After meeting with Kendric over the past few days, we have mutually decided that he will leave the Michigan Basketball program," said Michigan headman John Beilein. "Kendric is a talented young man and we wish him nothing but success in the future."

Price sat out his initial season as a Wolverine in order to redshirt, and saw extremely limited court time under Tommy Amaker last year. The 6-8, 205-pounder is an outstanding athlete, but he is contemplating hanging up his gym shoes for good.

"After much thought throughout the fall and over the last few weeks, I feel that I need to step away," said Price. "I am thankful for the opportunity that was given to me here at Michigan, but I am going to take some time to concentrate on my academic career and decide if I want to further pursue my playing career."
