Sam Scouts Long
"Jake was wearing a leg brace and seemed slightly hobbbled. That might explain the few times I saw a speed rush get by him. Still, you can see what makes this kid special. He's extremely mobile and has really good strength. Lapeer East played him at standup (strongside) defensive end and offensive tackle. He also played a little fullback. This kid is a great athlete. Once he gets with a college offensive line coach, this kid will be scary good. He has a really good punch and can keep guys off of his body. Great stance....really sits down in it and moves his feet. However, as I said, he was a bit hampered by the leg."
