Michigan had been recruiting the talented athlete as a cornerback and apparently is doing so under the new coaching regime as well. Bushell is looking to have more of his questions answered in the coming weeks.
“It was Coach Bedford that was recruiting me,” he said. “I don’t know who it is now. I was scheduled to visit for the 18th of January. I think that’s still going to happen. I’ve got Florida on the 11th and Texas Tech the week after Michigan.”
The Wolverines are playing a bit of catch-up in the race for the two-way star’s services, but the gap doesn’t look to be very wide. All of the youngster’s suitors will have ample opportunity to distance themselves from the pack during the visits.
“If I had to pick (a leader), I would say Oklahoma State, but that’s only because I took the official visit already,” said Bushell. “I’m going to be looking for the place I feel the most comfortable with. I’m also going to be looking for the place with the opportunity to go out and get the most playing time.”
“I don’t know when I’m going to make my decision,” Bushell continued. “I will do it whenever I feel like that’s where I want to be.”
