Michigan and Miami were split at the top of the polls after the first half of the season. Both teams went undefeated and won their holiday tournaments. Following the GLI, the Wolverines get the upcoming week off as the four Wolverines skating in the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championships conclude their tournament and return to Ann Arbor. Michigan's next contest is an exhibition game against the U.S. NTDP Under-18 team on Tue., Jan. 6, 2008 at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor.
