Michigan in the Polls

Michigan entered the weekend split at the top of the polls with the Miami of Ohio RedHawks. A shocking upset of the RedHawks left just one team sitting on top of the polls this week. Is Michigan the No. 1 team in the nation, or did the RedHawks loss provide more then a small shake up near the top of the polls.

After climbing to No. 1 in the nation early in the month of December, a bye week cost the Maize and Blue their spot in the top of the polls. Getting a week off to start 2008, the fortune of the Maize and Blue reversed as a stunning upset of Miami leaves Michigan as the No. 1 team once again.
