J.T. Floyd breaks the news to GoBlueWolverine:
"I'm 100% committed to Michigan!"
J.T. informed the coaches that were recruiting him on Tuesday night. Those schools were N.C. State, Georgia Tech and Tennessee.
J.T.'s dad said, "He called each and every coach to let them know that he appreciated the opportunity that they gave him. This was his decision, and me and his mom are so happy that he stood up like a man and handled a tough situation."
The decision to attend Michigan was the opportunity to play right away at multiple positions. "Coach Gibson told me that they are going to let me compete at the safety and cornerback positions."
The Jan. 18th official visit, J.T. said, was also key for him: "Also when I came on my visit I really vibed with the guys, Donovan Warren and Steven Threet basically the whole team made me feel like I was a Wolverine already. I felt really comfortable up at Michigan."
"It is a great atmosphere up there and I am happy to be apart of it."
