All-American defensive back Paul Oliver (Nov. 2 official visit, 6-0, 180 lbs., 4.42 in the 40) from Kennesaw, Georgia, Harrison (The Insider's #22 prospect) returned from his official Michigan visit Sunday evening. We talked to him right after he got home.
How was the visit?
"The visit went well. The whole thing was good. The game went real well of course."
Who was your host?
"MAR-lin Jackson (emphases his)."
What was your favorite part?
"Besides the game, just being around the Michigan players."
Did it make you think ... about your Georgia commitment I mean?
"Umm ... yeah, I think it will. Michigan's a good place. I'm still committed to Georgia though."
Will you visit anywhere else?
"I don't think so. I'll probably leave it at that and think about it .... Georgia and Michigan."
I saw you heading out to dinner with Jayson (Ala. Wr Jayson Swain, who was visiting as well) and Ryan (Mundy).
"Yeah. I went out to eat Saturday night with Marlin, and Jayson and his host Darnell Hood, and Ryan and Steve Breaston -- his former teammate."
Note: in my interview with Ryan Mundy I asked Ryan if Oliver said anything about Michigan, and his commitment to Georgia, and so on? Mundy answered, "Not really. We were just having fun. But we were watching the Georgia-Florida game, and I could tell he was disappointed when they lost."
