Michigan Adds Commit #4

*VIDEO ADDED* GoBlueWolverine was first to bring fans the news of the latest Michigan offers in the state of Ohio last week. Now comes word that one of them decided to keep the Wolverines commitment train rolling along.

The Wolverines added another piece to their recruiting class this morning by securing a verbal from playmaking Youngstown (OH) Liberty safety Isaiah Bell. The 6-2, 200 pounder has a penchant for finding the end zone after making an interception, can lay the big hit, and is even an accomplished punt & kick returner. With his frame he could even develop into a weakside linebacker. Michigan clearly liked all of those attributes, and the feeling was obviously mutual.

“Coach Rodriguez and Coach Gibson and the defensive coordinator (Coach Shafer) were the big reasons for my decision,” Bell told GoBlueWolverine this afternoon. “They say more than likely I’ll be a safety.”

Bell is one of the early sleepers in the state of Ohio, but the buzz around him had been growing of late.

“I had offers from West Virginia, Miami of Ohio, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, and a few other schools,” he said.

As was reported last week, the Wolverines have also offered Bell’s teammate, running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Stay tuned to GoBlueWolverine for more on Bell’s decision and Toussaint in the hours to come.
