Mich. LB Lamarr Woodley Goes Through Changes

In the last week, the world of All-American linebacker Lamarr Woodley from Saginaw, Mich. got turned a little bit topsy-turvy. But Lamarr is keeping his cool ...

Your's truly decided it was time for catch up again with All-American linebacker Lamarr Woodley (MSU Nike stats: 6-1 1/2, 250 lbs., 4.0 in the shuttle; 4.72 in the 40, 4.0 in the shuttle, 29-inch vertical jump, 315-lb. bench press, 2.9 GPA/16 ACT) from Saginaw, Mich. (The Insiders' #2 prospect). Things have been changing fast for him lately.

Lamarr, you've undergone three changes recently. First, Saginaw lost in the first round of the playoffs 7-6?

"Yeah, we'd never heard of Romeo. I just don't think we played at the level we should have."

Next, you had to cancel Michigan visit last week. Did you rescheule it?

"Yeah, I've reset it for the first weekend in December (Dec. 6). Basketball starts sometime in December, but it won't interfere."

Finally, you 've got your official visit scheduled to MSU next week? Are you still keeping that date now that Bobby Williams was fired?

"Most likely ... I think I'm still taking it."

With basketball coming up, you'd said you wanted to take your official visits during the fall -- have you given any thought to deciding early?

"No, not really ..."

Hey, I get emails saying that you wear Michigan stuff at school ...

(Laughs ...) "I wore a Michigan shirt yesterday, an MSU shirt today ... there's no meaning to it."
