Scout.com's No. 7 ranked corner, Branden Smith, just goes out on the field and looks to just do what he does best; make plays.
"I'm real physical, I'm fast, and I just do my thing," Smith said describing his game. "Once I do that, everything goes good."
Everything has gone well for Smith on the recruiting trail as well. The talented youngster from the Atlanta area has schlarship offers from a slew of BCS schools, including Michigan, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and LSU.
"I'm up to 28 offers right now I think," Smith reported. "Right now I'm up in the air. I think it's a good thing everyone is recruiting me real hard. Everyone has been recruiting me to play both sides of the ball. They definitely want me on both sides."
With so many strong options in front of him, Smith has no clue yet which schools he will visit officially.
"I'm just wide open," he said.
And regarding a potential visit to Michigan? "Anything's possible," he replied. "I'm just working around my schedule right now."
The Wolverines do have a few strong factors in their favor that could aid their cause.
"Michigan is a real good school," said Smith. "They've had a lot of kids come out of there, and they have a great tradition."
"I just want to have that connection with the coaching, a high graduation rate, and just getting along with the players."
When Smith finally what he's looking for, the winning school will find out with the rest of the nation.
"I'm going to make it (my decision) at the Under Armour game," he said.
