Largo, Fl LB Mike Marry has seen a flood of scholarship offers come his way in recent months from schools like Michigan, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and North Carolina. Now talented youngster is preparing to narrow down his list with one school already establised as a finalist.
"I don't have my list yet, but in next week or so I'll be cutting it down to concentrate on certain schools," he said. "Michigan will make the cut. I talked to them two or three days ago. Coach Frey is my recruiting coach. I like him a lot. He just keeps it real with me and I know he'll be there for me to help me with whatever."
That relationship with Frey and Michigan itself has Mike thinking quite a bit about the Wolverines. All that's left is to visit Ann Arbor.
"I like the way the coaches are running the program," said Marry. "I just haven't seen the campus yet. I'm most likely going to take a visit to Michigan. I just haven't made a date yet."
If and when he does make his way to the Great Lakes state, Marry hopes to get a better feel for how he'd be utlized should he opt to don the Maize & Blue.
"Well they're recruiting me at linebacker. I'm not sure which one yet, but most likely I'll be a middle. I talked to Coach Hopson about it, but that was so long ago."
