Is Michigan on top for Mywan Jackson?

Florida speedster Mywan Jackson has Michigan very high up on his list, but are they at THE top? Who are the Wolverine's competing against? Are there any package deals in the works for he and teammate Angelo Hadley?

When Seffner Armwood athlete Mywan Jackson took his unofficial visit to Michigan in late July, the Wolverines jumped out for his services by quite a bit. Auburn then jumped in the fold when Jackson went to visit them a few weeks after his trip to Ann Arbor. After declaring Michigan his leader, followed by declaring Auburn his leader, where do things stand for the talent from the Sunshine State?

"Oh, Michigan and Auburn are my top two," an excited Jackson said to GBW. "Everything is all tied up between those two schools."

Coach Frey, Mywan's recruiting coach and seemingly ever-present Maize and Blue force in the Tampa Fla. area, has been in contact with Mywan several times since the quiet period has lifted, showing Mywan he's still wanted in Ann Arbor.

"He (Coach Frey) called me last night, but I was in class so I 've got to call him back. But I talked with him last week too. We talked about me coming up for an official visit, and while I haven't set it up yet, next time I talk to Coach Frey I'll definitely set it up. The Illinois game (Oct. 4th), that'll be the day."

And Jackson won't be alone for his October 4th venture to the Big House. He'll be bringing one of his best friends and teammates with him.

"I think Angelo (Hadley) will come with me. I'm going to be honest - I think Angelo and I will go to the same school ... but he's feeling Michigan too."

When Jackson's unofficial visit to Ann Arbor was off the charts for him and vaulted the Wolverine's into the top echelon of program's in his eyes, what is it going to take for Michigan to out-do their previous performance?

"I want to see the atmosphere in the Big House, see a game in there. I want to see the fans and how they support their football team. When I was up there we didn't get to see much of the Big House or what it'd be like on game day, so I'm excited to see that."
