McNeal Readying for Visits

Minneapolis (MN) Breck high wideout Bryce McNeal chats with GoBlueWolverine about his decision to take visits and the status of his commitment to Michigan

"Yeah, I'm going to hit my visits," McNeal told GoBlueWolverine last night.  "Michigan knows.  They knew for a while now."

McNeal has indeed been contemplating visits for months.  Shortly after his unofficial visit to Ann Arbor on September 6th he indicated that informed his recruiter/position Coach Tony Dews of his intentions.  Now it's just a matter of figuring what all of his destinations will be.

"I've got some set up right now," he reported.  "I've got Colorado… that's it. As of right now I'm considering California Berkeley, the Florida Gators, and the Minnesota Gophers."

Because McNeal is tripping to those schools, many pundits (and likely the coaches from those programs) may be speculating that his commitment to Michigan is not strong. He, though, insists that would be a mistake.

"I'm going to take my official visits," McNeal stated.  "As of right now, I'm committed to Michigan.  There's no reason for people to think I'm not.  I'm a high school kid. If I want to take visits, that's up to me and my family.  It shouldn't have nothing to do with questioning my commitment."
