U-M Commitment Rivas In State Semis

Ryan Mundy and Leon Hall aren't the only Michigan recruits still playing in their state tournaments.<br><br> Tampa Jesuit (11-1) advanced to the 3-A (next-to-largest classification) Florida State Semifinals Friday. And Michigan commitment kicker Garrett Rivas has played a Big-Foot role.

Tampa Jesuit (11-1) advanced to the 3-A (next-to-largest classification) State Semifinals with a 27-6 win over Bradenton Southeast Friday in the quarterfinals.

Tampa Jesuit's kicker Garrett Rivas (5-9, 180 lbs.) hit two field goals in the Bradenton game, including a 40-yarder. He now has 12 field goals for the season (with only three misses),and is five for five in Tampa Jesuit's three playoff games so far -- including two from 36 yards, the 40-yarder mentioned, and a 47 yarder.
