The University of Michigan women's basketball team (14-10, 6-7 B1G) hosts Northwestern (18-6, 8-5 B1G) on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 14, 2 p.m.) as part of its annual Pink Game at Crisler Center. The game will air live on the Big Ten Network.

• Michigan is holding its annual Pink game in Saturday's contest. U-M will be having dinner with a group of breast cancer survivors prior to the game, as the Wolverines' emphasis for holding the game is about survivorship and how every woman needs to be aware of her health. The dinners started during head coach Kim Barnes Arico's first season at U-M and she liked the impact it had on her team. The women who join the Wolverines for dinner will be introducing the starting lineup prior to today's game. U-M will also recognize all breast cancer survivors in attendance during halftime.

• U-M is looking for its ninth straight win over Northwestern after the Wolverines took a 73-66 victory in Evanston on Jan. 17.

• Michigan has already secured the season sweep of Michigan State after a 72-59 win in East Lansing on Feb. 5. The Wolverines have two more chances for season sweeps this season, coming against Northwestern in today's game and against Illinois in the season finale on Feb. 28.

• Saturday's game is Michigan's sixth Big Ten Network game of the season. U-M is 3-2 in television games this season.
