The wait is officially underway. Five schools have received official visits from five star Army All American William Campbell, and five schools will be watching that game with bated breath hoping that he puts on the hat emblazoned with their team's emblem.
The talented two-way lineman made his way down to Miami over the weekend and didn't have much more to say about that trip than he did his previous stops. However, he did indicate that there was one way in which his time in Hurricane country stuck out a bit.
"It was straight," Campbell said of his time at Miami. "It was probably better than Florida and LSU in terms of the surroundings, but school-wise everybody was the same. I'm just going to weigh everything.
Aside from the deliberation process, Campbell will also be focused on getting a few other things accomplished in the coming weeks. First, he will be working hard to prepare for his participation in the Army game. Second, he twill ry to get all the requirements for his early enrollment satisfied as soon as possible. Time isn't as much of an issue for LSU and Miami since classes begin on those campuses January 12th and 20th respectively, but for Michigan, Florida, Alabama it is an issue since classes begin on those campuses during the first week in January.
"I didn't my test scores back yet," Campbell reported. "They said (the scores would arrive) in six to eight weeks, but Coach (Wilcher) said he was going to pay for them to come earlier because I need them. I don't think I can enroll at a school before I get the scores back."
GoBlueWolverine will have more on Campbell in the coming weeks.
