Mens Basketball Wins 4th Straight

Monday night at Crisler Arena, the Wolverine mens basketball team ran its record to 4-6 with an 85-57 win over Eastern Michigan.

Midway through the first half Michigan trailed 16-11, but the Wolverines turned it on led by eight points each from senior forward LaVall Blanchard and freshman center Chris Hunter to take a 38-29 halftime lead. The Wolverines cruised from there to win it handily.

Blanchard led Michigan with 19 points, and Bernard Robinson added 16 and nine rebounds.

The biggest areas improvement in the game for the Wolverines: inside play (Michigan outrebounded Eastern 41-22, with Hunter and fellow frosh Graham Brown each grabbing seven), and shooting percentage (57% overall and 35% at 3-pointers).
