Top Fla Prospects: Palm Beach County (Part 2)

The Wolverines have three coaches on the ground in Florida. By comparison, the only state with as many is Ohio and the only state with more is Michigan. The newfound significance of the Sunshine State, has prompted GoBlueWolverine to assemble lists of the top players in the talent hotbed, region by region. We continue the journey today in the South Florida county of Palm Beach.

OG/C- Antonio Ford, Pahokee, 6'3, 250
*Athletic for his size, will need to add bulk to his frame.  Has long arms and should put the necessary weight on easily.  Expect his recruitment to heat up as teams head down to the muck.  Could project anywhere on OL or DT.

DE-  Zach Allen, Pahokee, 6'2, 190
*Undersized right now, could play OLB.  Recently ran a 4.67 and had a 29 inch vertical

DT-  Doral Willis, Pahokee, 6'0, 300
*2nd Team All-State for 2B.  First Team All County by the Palm Beach on the DL.  Also played left guard.

DT-  Michael Flueizard, Dwyer,  6'0, 270

LB- Jamaal Wallace, Kings Academy, 6'1, 215
*First Team All-State for 2B.  First Team All County by the Palm Beach Post.  Second Team All County by the Sun-Sentinel.  Had 89 tackles, eight sacks, and 19 tackles for loss. Plays downhill and can lay the lumber.

CB/WR- James Louis, Atlantic, 5'11, 175
*3rd Team All-State for 5A.  First Team All County by the Palm Beach Post at wide receiver.  First Team All County wide receiver by the Sun-Sentinel.  Louis caught 43 passes for 846 yards and eight touchdowns.  Elusive and quick, he could project to CB where his size becomes a bonus.

CB- Greg Dent, Glades Central, 6'0, 180
*First Team All County by the Sun-Sentinel on defense.  Capable of playing offense or defense.  Physical corner who can run and hit.  Caught two balls for 27yards, both touchdowns.  Tough player, good size for DB, likes contact.

CB-  Robert Clark, Dwyer, 5'10, 165
*2nd Team All-State for 4A.  First Team All County by the Palm Beach Post and Sun-Sentinel.  Clark is a lock-down corner with instincts and tremendous ball skills.  Very fast.

CB- Peniel Jean, PB Central, 5'11, 170
*Hitters mentality at CB.  Solid size.  Good, not great speed.  Solid athlete.  More of a zone corner type.

S- Johnnie Simon, PB Lakes, 6'1, 175
*Big-time hitter with range.

S- Travis Bell, Glades Central, 6'1, 190
*Longtime contributor for state power Glades Central. Rangy, who will rattle your teeth with bone-jarring hits.  Can run and looks good in space.  Needs to be more consistent.  Plus size for safety.

1S- Merrill Noel, Pahokee, 5'9, 180
*On the short side, but is an outstanding athlete.  Ran a 4.37 and vertical jumped 31 inches.  Produced as a junior.  Sure tackler in space.

S- Darius Milines, American Heritage-Delray, 6'0, 180
*Second Team All-State for 1A.  First Team All County by the Sun-Sentinel on offense. Second Team All County by the Palm Beach Post.  Battled back from thumb surgery.  Upside at the safety spot due to natural play-making skills and overall talent.
