Hoopsters Win At Pauly!

From 0-6 to five wins in a row -- and the latest being this afternoon's national-televised affair at UCLA's Pauly Pavilion. Michigan upends the Bruins 81-76.

And GoBlueWolverine's Don Hoekwater was there!

Michigan took a 43-36 in the half-time break, then extended it to 63-47 and held on for the win.

The star of the game for the Wolverines was freshman point guard Daniel Horton, who led the team with 24 points. But he had plenty of help from senior forward LaVell Blanchard (18 points and eight rebounds) and junior forward Bernard Robinson (18 points and six rebounds).

The keys to the game: three-pointers and rebounds. Michigan made a season-high 11 of 22 three pointers, led by Horton's seven. And The Wolverines out-rebounded the Bruins 36-31.

On a bit of a roll now, The Wolverine's next game is January 2nd at home versus San Francisco.

We'll have a report and pictures from our West Coast Correspondent Don Hoekwater later tonight.
