GBW talked briefly (actually, talked at length but interviewed briefly) Shawn Crable and Steve Smith. Also a report on LenDale White.
All-American linebacker Shawn Crable (Dec. 13 official visit, 2002 Michigan camper, 6-6, 225 lbs., 4.74 in the 40, 10.8 100 meters, 2.8 GPA/15 ACT) from Massillon, Ohio, Washington told us, "Nothing has changed for me. I still have Pitt and Ohio State to visit." Crable has already visited USC, Michigan and Miami.
(That's Shawn on the left!)
All-American wide receiver/athlete Steve Smith (tentative Jan visit, 6-1, 185 lbs., 4.45 in the 40) from Woodland Hills, California, Taft told us, "I'm down to USC and Tennessee now. I'm done with Michigan."
The Denver Post is reporting that All-American running back Lendale White (Dec. 6 official visit, 6-2, 230 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 2.7 GPA/18 ACT) from Littleton, Colorado, Chatfield committed to USC last (Saturday) night. This would not surprise us -- we'll ask LenDale when we see him later today.
