Dominique Easley gets visit from Wolverines

Dominique Easley is a hot name on the recruiting trail. He's been racking up offers from far and wide, with Georgia and Florida being his latest offers. The Michigan Wolverines recently joined the party as well, bringing his list of offers up to 16. He talked to GBW about it.

"They (Michigan) offered at the beginning of April," Staton Island N.Y. DE Dominique Easley told GoBlueWolverine. I got the written offer in the mail, then talked to coach Rodriquez."

Wolverines assistant Tony Gibson was in New York on Monday to visit Easley. The Staten Island native talked about the recent encounter.

"Yeah, coach was here. Of course I couldn't talk to him or anything, but my coach talked with him for awhile."

Easley openly admitted that he doesn't know a lot about the Wolverines, but he is familiar with a former player.

"They've got a winning program. Mike Hart went there, and he's from New York. I like Michigan; they're up there."

Easley doesn't have a list of favorites, and will not issue a verbal commitment until the end of his season.

When the time comes for Easley to make a decision, he has a good idea of what factors will go into his choice.

"Comfort with the coaches and players, the overall environment, and education. I'll probably major in business or psychology. It has to be a winning school too! Distance is not a factor."

This 50 cent look alike is certainly not an actor, evidenced by how his statistical line from his junior season reads.

51 tackles, 10 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries, 1interception, and 2 touchdowns. Throw in his 6'3" 265 pound frame, and the fact that he's able to run the 40 yard dash in the 4.6 range.

One can clearly understand why Easley is such a coveted prospect.
