Woodley Back From MSU

All-American linebacker Lamarr Woodley has returned from his visit to MSU. We asked him if anthing has changed.

Yours truly just had a good talk with The Insiders' #2 prospect, linebacker Lamarr Woodley (Dec. 6 official visit, MSU Nike stats: 6-1 1/2, 250 lbs., 4.0 in the shuttle; 4.72 in the 40, 4.0 in the shuttle, 29-inch vertical jump, 315-lb. bench press, 2.9 GPA/16 ACT) from Saginaw, Mich.

First of all, who all went on the visit? Did you mom go? Did Jerome (RB Jerome Jackson, his teammate and fellow Michigan recruit)?

"Yes, my mom went along. And Jerome went too, and Anthony Rogers (linebacker teammate) too."

So what did everybody think? You, your mom, Jerome?

"For me it was a good chance to get to know Coach Smith first hand. My mom and I didn't do that much talking, but she got a chance to ask questions -- she asked quite a few questions. Jerome left before me so we didn't talk really."

Does this change anything for you?

"Nah. Everybody is neck and neck -- Michigan, Michigan State and USC."

Do you have your Michigan in-home visit with Coach Carr scheduled yet?

"No, we haven't set that yet."

Are you and Jerome planning to go to school together?

"If it happens that's be great. But if it doesn't, then we'll just play against each other I guess."

Do you still have the same timetable for a decision?

"Yeah. Signing Day."
