Is Carnell Stewart Visiting Michigan?

All-American defensive lineman Carnell Stewart from River Ridge, Louisiana, John Curtis Christian is not answering the phone these days, so we just talked to his coach (Tuesday late morning).

John Curtis, the head coach of All-American defensive lineman Carnell Stewart (Jan. 31 official visit, 6-5, 290 lbs., 4.8 in the 40, 415-lb. bench press, 2.8 GPA) from River Ridge, Louisiana, John Curtis Christian, The Insiders' #74 prospect, told yours truly:

"Carnell did not commit to LSU during his visit last weekend."

Can you confirm whether Carnell is visiting Michigan this weekend or next?

"No. Carnell has not confirmed a visit to Michigan this weekend. Coach Carr and Jackson were here last week and we talked about it, but Carnell has not decided what to do for his remaining visits."

Note: Stewart has two possible visits left, and still lists three schools: Michigan, Oklahoma or Miami. It will be surprising, from all Carnell has told me over the months, if Michigan does not get one of those visits. He has already visited Colorado (alma mater of his cousin Kordell), Florida, and LSU.
